‘HOME’, an exhibition featuring the work of artists from the Creative Network will close on Sunday 14 April 2024.

For those who have not yet been, there is still the opportunity to see sixty-five pieces of work ranging from drawings to paintings, ceramics, mixed media, photography and sculpture by local artists displayed at the Manx Museum.

Each piece appearing in the exhibition was selected by an expert panel for display including Manx artist and Educator Ian Coulson, internationally renowned sculptor Professor Michael Sandle RA and Katie King, Manx National Heritage Curator for Art and Social History.  The works also feature in an accompanying catalogue, available to purchase at the Manx Museum.

Hannah Murphy, Assistant Curator for Manx National Heritage said:

“The Isle of Man has an absolutely thriving arts community and it has been a pleasure to showcase the work of so many local artists and their interpretation of ‘HOME’ at the Manx Museum”.

Carola Rush from the Creative Network organising committee said:

“Our collective of artists are extremely grateful to Manx National Heritage for working with us to stage this exhibition. It represents a wonderful opportunity for today’s Manx artists to be a part of a themed exhibition, showing alongside fellow artists in the prestigious Manx Museum venue.”

‘HOME’ ends on Sunday 14 April 2024 at the Manx Museum and will be followed by ‘Wild Mann’, nature photography exhibition, featuring stunning images of the Isle of Man’s wildlife and natural environment, captured by local photography enthusiasts, opening on Saturday 27 April to coincide with the start of Manx Wildlife Week.  Admission is free, with donations welcome.   To find our more, visit www.manxnationalheritage.im/whats-on/ .
